On November 13th from 5 30 to 8 PM EST we are holding an event with OpenView Venture Partners. This is a Thursday night and a couple weeks before Thanksgiving so you should all beable to come!

We all have been reading articles about women working in tech and the struggles we face on the job. Here is your chance to talk openly about your experiences at work and learn how to get what you want out of your job.

Learn from some amazing women how to not just get ahead, but how to get what you deserve out of your job.

OpenView Venture Partners and Boston WomenPreneurs invite you to join us for an evening focused on how to get what you want at work.

Thursday, November 13
5:30-8:00pm
303 Congress Street, Boston, MA Floor 6

There will be drinks, apps, and networking with the motivated women in tech community here in Boston/Cambridge.

At 6pm, we will have a panel-lead discussion around how to best assert yourself in the workplace.

In just one hour you will learn how to:

  • Step up as a leader and ask for what you want, be it:
  • A raise or a promotion
  • Negotiate a salary
  • Master the art of the humble brag and share your success
  • Create visibility within your company

Our panel includes:

Deb Kemper, Active angel investor, Golden Seeds and Clean Energy Venture Group (formerly Consultant, McKinsey & Company)

Mary-Alice Miller, Founder and CEO of mosaicHUB (formerly Outside General Counsel, General Catalyst)

Brendan Reid, Vice President of Marketing at Exinda and author of acclaimed career management book “Stealing the Corner Office”

Karen Rubin, Director of Product at Quantopian (formerly Entrepreneur in Residence, Matrix Partners)

The event will cap off at 120 attendees, so we encourage you to sign up early and share this event with others in the tech community who would find it beneficial.  We're looking forward to 11/13, and hope you'll join us!
