What You Have Learned From the Women Around You...

Say Yes!

  • If there is a problem that you keep running into, it is chronic and very problematic for a big market --go after it. If you think you have the solution you should try to solve it.

  • Try a lot of different things in your career. Try them early and often.

  • Prove yourself to the company that you work for or want to work for.

  • What you think equals success usually is the opposite. Figuring this out along the way is what will make you a better business person.

  • If you are miserable in your job or with your situation then you need to make a change.

  • Have enthusiasm in all that you do. Enthusiasm trumps negativity around you.

  • Hate when people tell you no. Then, go find another way to do it.

  • Be really, really, really good at what you do.

  • Lose a lot and then figure out how to win.

  • Don’t let anyone tell you no.

  • Be the first one to do something at your company.

  • Don’t be the loudest one in the room.

  • Persuade people with data and facts.

  • Find your passion.

  • Share your secrets of success with your team and let them shine.

  • Pave the way in a male dominated environment.

  • Look for mentors inside and outside of your company.

  • Self reflect.

  • Want. Want to be that type of person that you are not today. Aspire to be something greater and work hard to get there.

  • Find confidence in others.

  • Find support in the people around you.

  • Give each other advice and grow from one another.

  • Step out of your comfort zone and seek awesome results.

  • You never know unless you try.

  • If you find yourself at a meeting and not actually participating, realize that you should have been. Next time you will sit at the table to participate.

  • Take leaps of faith.

  • Be an overachiever.

  • Have breakdowns, but learn from them.

  • Today you might be able to do it but tomorrow maybe not so much.

  • Be humble.

  • Surround yourself with a wonderful team.

  • Have WAY too much confidence in yourself.

  • Hear the positive and not always the negative.

  • Always listen to the good and the bad. Make changes.
